A WEE LAND

I was officially allowed to follow through on the ideas I had developed on the Special Needs Course on the understanding that a boy who had been extremely unsettled and causing a lot of problems over the preceding months would be one of the children in my group. The boy was the child I refer to in the book Balancing the Request as David. At this time my room was a sort of classroom and sand tray room combined.

The tray below was made by David. There is much about how the work with David unfolded in the  book Balancing. He made this tray towards the end of his stay in the Day Unit.

David's real name and most of the date has been removed from the top of the Index Card.
The names of the three boys from his class who feature throughout the 'story' have also been changed
